Testimonials

The day I first walked into Trappe Feed, I knew I was in the right place for me and my five dogs. Sue and Gordon (owners) are experts in their field. They are so up to date on all the foods, and carry the best for all different prices. I go in there two or three times a week because they have so many great supplies and treats for my dogs. Their staff is so helpful and friendly - you feel like family.

Sue, Gordon, John and their staff are wonderful to work with. My husband and I prefer to shop with and support our local small business owners. When the shop in Trappe opened, we were elated! We have been shopping with them since a week or so after they Grand Opened. We show and limitedly breed Dobermans. Sue and Gordon offer the Super Premium Food choices that help us set the foundation for our dogs in the Conformation Ring, Obedience Ring and our retired Seniors, keeping them in top condition. They offer hard to find products and never say they are unable to order something they do not carry on a regular basis. The Seminars on Nutrition from the various vendors that they offer at the shop, are hugely informative. What we like the most is they keep your pet at the center of what they do. They realize how important to us they are and work with us to help keep them happy and healthy from puppy hood through to their senior years. Thanks so much for all your support to our dogs over the years Team Trappe Feed and Pet Supply! Cheryl Burgess and Bob Salvino

Our class at the Pathway School was given the wonderful opportunity to adopt “Zoey” the guinea pig from Trappe Feed & Pet Supply.  Zoey is an absolutely amazing animal who has already contributed so much to our classroom environment!

Many of the students in my room are diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder and profound mental retardation.  Daily tasks such as hygiene, putting on a jacket, and eating can be challenging for these students without physical prompting from staff.  Many times individuals with Autism also have difficulty interacting with, and initiating contact with others.

Since adopting Zoey, we have seen a tremendous difference in several students.  One student who often engages in aggressive behavior and can be unfocused is attending to Zoey and has been gently petting her for increasing lengths of time.  Another student is initiating contact with Zoey without prompting!  The overall affect of these students completely changes when Zoey is in the room, they are often smiling, laughing, and showing affection during these times.

I can’t say enough about the therapeutic effect that the guinea pig has had for our staff and students.  Our room has quickly become very popular around campus because of Zoey.  We are very thankful to be lucky enough to have Zoey in our lives!

I didn't realize that my yellow lab, Sandy, needed to lose some weight until our last visit to the vet. At Trappe Feed & Pet Supply they have the reduced-fat food that has helped Sandy loose those extra pounds. Sandy is weighing in at the perfect weight now. Thanks Trappe feed for your help!
